The University of Washington Multiple Sclerosis Research Center seeks volunteers to participate in a research study evaluating an experimental T-cell vaccine as a potential treatment for both relapse-remitting and secondary progressive multiple sclerosis. Participants must have had two or more MS attacks in the past two years, be between 18 and 60 years old, be able to walk 60 feet and must have never used the medication Novantrone. Volunteers must not be taking Avonex, Betaseron, Copaxone or steroids. Additionally, they must be able to travel to the UW clinic eight to 10 times during a seven-month period. 206-616-8967.
