TV talk show host Montel Williams has been fined $100 -- after authorities at a Detroit-area airport found him with pot paraphernalia.

A doctor has prescribed marijuana for Williams for medical reasons. He suffers from multiple sclerosis and said he uses it to ease chronic pain.

The Detroit News reported that authorities found the pot works as he tried to board a plane. After paying the fine, Williams boarded the flight out of Michigan.
