The Multiple Sclerosis Society's website has won first prize in the website category of the BMA Patient Information Award.
The judges praised it for its reference to evidence-based materials, its clear and crisp navigation, its high accessibility, the breadth and depth of content and the inclusion of an active and moderated message board, with good concise guidance on its use.
Twenty websites were entered for the award, made for sites primarily aimed at consumers.
It was presented by Sir Keith Peters, Regius Professor of Physic at the University of Cambridge at a ceremony at BMA House in London.
