Terry Parker won a landmark court
case against the federal government last year, forcing health officials
to allow marijuana for medical use, but still can't smoke pot legally.
Like many other patients, the Torontonian who has epilepsy says the government's
new system of pot permits keeps people from getting their medicine. Over
the next two weeks, a Quebec Superior Court in Hull will hear testimony
from patients complaining about the application procedure.
