PwMS wins honour

Carrie Schulman of Plantation was inducted into the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's Hall of Fame at the organization's National Leadership Conference on Nov. 16 in Washington, D.C. Schulman, who has multiple sclerosis, has worked for 15 years to raise awareness and money for multiple sclerosis research. She has also been selected as the National MS Society -- South Florida Chapter's Woman of the Year, and will be recognized at the Chapter's 18th Annual Gala Luncheon and Fashion Show on Dec. 6 at the Broward County Convention Center. "I am so amazed by this recognition," said Schulman. "Being South Florida's Woman of the Year is tremendous, and receiving a national award is such an added honor. This has been quite a year."
