Carrie Schulman of Plantation was inducted into the National Multiple
Sclerosis Society's Hall of Fame at the organization's National Leadership
Conference on Nov. 16 in Washington, D.C. Schulman, who has multiple sclerosis,
has worked for 15 years to raise awareness and money for multiple sclerosis
research. She has also been selected as the National MS Society -- South
Florida Chapter's Woman of the Year, and will be recognized at the Chapter's
18th Annual Gala Luncheon and Fashion Show on Dec. 6 at the Broward County
Convention Center. "I am so amazed by this recognition," said Schulman.
"Being South Florida's Woman of the Year is tremendous, and receiving
a national award is such an added honor. This has been quite a year."
