Just one day after thieves stole six computers from the North Central Texas Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the organization was tipping its hat to the generosity of Tarrant County residents and Best Buy.

Kindhearted callers offered extra household computers, but Best Buy replaced the six stolen computers with new ones.

"The fact they were also willing to do the installation was even better because we do not have an IT professional on staff," said Cindy Cantu, volunteer/communications manager for the chapter.

The chapter is working to create a program in which the other donated computers will be given to MS clients in need.

Computers are still being accepted, and money contributions can be sent to the chapter at 2086 Sandshell Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76137. For information about the program, call (817) 306-7003.
