The Sensory Garden Project has launched it's new website on the UK Beehive community to coincide with the 50th Anniversary of the MS Society and offers a photographic haven of peace and tranquility.
We started to create the garden in 1999 and the community website and photo albums early March 2003 when hopes of peace in Iraq were fading, and some of the pictures and texts are quite relevant. Every evening of the war a bonfire and candles were lit in the garden, friends gathered and prayers offered for all involved.
The Sensory Garden is designed to stimulate the senses and provide a haven of peace, a place to chill-out and unwind from the stress of modern living.
A garden designed specifically to be "Positive About Disabled People" and raise funds for the local branch of the MS Society.
Take a virtual tour of the garden, its different areas, its monthly photo galleries & artwork, explore and discover the plants, birds and wildlife, water features and wind-chimes, as we endeavour to describe the sights, sounds, smells, tastes, and touch of the various areas.
We hope you can visit our site. If you could offer a news item or link
your site that would be much appreciated.
