HUDDERSFIELD multiple sclerosis sufferers are being invited to find out more about how to improve their standard of living.

The Huddersfield MS Society has successfully bid for money from the Scope charity's Give It a Go millennium scheme.

It is being used to develop a seven-week course to help people who are living with MS.

The bid was made by committee member Dot Goodall, who has had MS for seven years.

The course will look at all aspects of MS, including therapies, the psychology of MS, diet supplements and information on local services.

Contributors to the course include neurologist Dr Omer, a psychologist and therapists from the Spectrum Healing Centre in Elland.

Today marks the beginning of the course, which takes place from 1.15pm to 4pm on Mondays at the Methodist Mission, Lord Street.

For information phone Dot Goodall on 10484 321607.
