Harris Interactive OnsiteSM, known for its Harris poll, recently named the National MS Society's website "best-in-class" for disability information. The results of its comprehensive consumer e-health study appeared in a recent issue of Harris Interactive Health Care News.
Internet-based and traditional methods were used to rate 159 healthcare websites according to 11 criteria (such as quality and relevance of information), thus tracking consumer awareness, use, and satisfaction. For each of the 28 health care categories, the survey identified e-health websites rated best in class, as well as the top 10 to 12 websites in those categories.
