Marijuana crusader Grant Kreiger is one step closer to getting his pot back.
Kreiger, who suffers from multiple sclerosis and uses the drug to ease his pain, said a Section 24 hearing has been set up with the Crown, so a judge can legally return 85 grams of pot.
"It's just a formality now," said Kreiger, who watched as cops confiscated his medicine at the Calgary Remand Centre two weeks ago.
Kreiger went to jail Jan. 22 to cover fines from probation breaches.
Kreiger, 46, is legally
allowed to smoke the dope, which he says eases his pain. He said the hearing
is set for next Tuesday.
