Corvallis Gazette-Times
A disabled Corvallis man lost his main mode of transportation Tuesday morning when he discovered someone had snuck into his carport during the night, cut a cable lock and stolen his electric tricycle.
The tricycle, which looks sort of like a combination of an electric wheelchair-scooter and a recumbent bicycle, is a Trailmate brand, red with a white plastic seat and wheels.
"It's one I specially modified so I could use it," said the owner, Michael
Mullett, who has multiple sclerosis. "I can strap my feet in, and there's
a cane holder and all this stuff."
The tricycle's replacement value is about $1,200, according to police
reports.
Anyone with information on the tricycle can call police at 766-6924.
