An important study is going on in mid-Michigan that could improve the health of multiple sclerosis patients.
UM-Flint's Physical Therapy department is studying ways to decrease the level of fatigue felt by people with multiple sclerosis. This is a 10 week study aimed at increasing the level of respiratory function and decreasing the level of fatigue.
Volunteers are needed who are clinically diagnosed with MS, at least 18 years old, able to walk with or without assistance and who don't smoke.
Only three visits to the newly opened Urban Health and Wellness Center, in the William S. White Building on the UM-Flint campus are required.
