The morning television show, GMTV has a fundraising week each year called Get Up And Give. This year’s Get Up And Give appeal will be from Monday 1st July to Friday 5th, from 6am until 9.25.
The MS Trust is over the moon to have been chosen from 300 applicants as one of Get Up And Give 2002’s five featured charities. It’s not so much a fundraising opportunity (though last year, each of the charities received a six figure cheque) as a means to raise awareness of multiple sclerosis on prime time television. We hope to reach out to many more of the UK’s 85,000 people with MS.
Get Up And Give is GMTV at its most star-studded, exciting and frenetic. Would you like to be involved? It's a morning you certainly won't forget!
Getting involved in the Get Up And Give appeal …
… in the London studios …
Much of the money donated to Get Up And Give is raised by viewers choosing
to donate to over the telephone. Each morning GMTV need 80 volunteers to
answer those telephone pledges.
