At Work With MS

'At Work With MS' is a new employment training course for people with MS and other long-term conditions

This new course will help you to:

Promote your strengths
Identify your skills ? and find out which are transferable to other jobs
Create a better CV
Sell yourself
Increase your letter-writing skills
Practise and prepare for job interviews
Reduce barriers to employment
Make adjustments in the workplace that will enable you to do your job effectively
Manage your condition at work
Network effectively

You will find out:

What your legal rights are
How to manage in the workplace
What assistance is available to help your return to work
What a Disability Employment Adviser does
What sort of work is best for you
What an employer expects
How to achieve your goals!

The course runs over five-days - two consecutive days followed by one day a week for three weeks. You must be committed to attending for all five days. A contribution will be made to participants' travel expenses.

Solihull starting March 2003

Shropshire starting September 2003
Eastbourne starting October 2003
Warwickshire starting January 2004
London starting February 2004
