'Squiggy' To Speak About Multiple Sclerosis

Program Free, Open To Public

11:32 a.m. CDT July 11, 2003

If you live in Milwaukee, you remember "Squiggy" from "Laverne & Shirley."

In real life, "Squiggy" is actually David Lander, and he is speaking out about multiple sclerosis.

Lander was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1984, but hid his disease from the public for 15 years.
He is speaking Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Country Inn and Conference Center in Pewaukee. That's at 2810 Golf Road.

The program is free and open to anyone interested in learning about multiple sclerosis.
