Frederick County, MD
A man on a mission to raise $80,000 for Multiple Sclerosis is pedaling through our area this week.
Thomas Beasley began his 50th cross-country bicycle trip in Florida, and Wednesday he passed through the city of Frederick. Beasley hit the road to raise money for M.S. research after his cycling trainer fell victim to the disease.
Beasley said, "the last 7 years I've just put everything into it that I, just so I could say at the end of my trip, or at the end of my biking experience that I made a difference in somebody's life."
Beasley will set out on the next leg of his journey Thursday.
His next destination is Hagerstown.
