MS is a chronic neurological disease that causes numbness, vision problems, problems walking, and even paralysis. Montel got the news while filming an episode of "Touched By An Angel." Despite the excruciating pain he goes through, Montel fights back.

He stays on top of the latest treatments and is committed to educating others. He gets the message out with this "MS Take Action Kit" produced with Spotlight Health. Montel says, "I do an extreme vitamin regimen, a mild hormonal replacement regiment, I watch what I eat, and I also exercise. I'm surviving MS because I'm working at it. I have to work out every single day to keep this way. It's hard work."

Despite all the disease has taken away, Montel, always the optimist, feels it's given him so much more. He says, "I can truthfully look at it as a gift because it has taken me to places I would have never gone. And it makes me understand that there is so much more to this life."
