As one of two vice chairs of Women
Against MS, Jan Lennon is out to conquer multiple sclerosis, a disease
that disproportionately affects women, including her 40-year-old niece,
afflicted with it 18 years ago.
Lennon also is the driving force
behind the Women Against MS initiative kick-off luncheon on Tuesday at
the Pfister Hotel.
"The power of women getting together
and committing themselves to a cause is really awe inspiring," Jan says.
"There's no stopping a group of women who have made up there minds to make
change and help people.
"Women Against MS is an initiative
to capture the power of women to make change."
