Vivien Neves, the first nude model to appear in The Times, has died aged 54. She had been suffering from multiple sclerosis for more than a decade.
Her appearance in a full-page advertisement in The Times in 1971, which
came after the chemicals company Fisons bought all the display advertising
space to promote its products, was seen as the start of a revolution in
attitudes to public nudity.
