The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is pleased to announce that America's Sweetheart, Annette Funicello, the most famous of the former Disney Mouseketeers, will be a National MS Walk Ambassador to support the upcoming 2002 MS Walk. In addition, Annette has invited her countless fans nationwide to form "Annie's Angels" MS Walk teams in her honor.

Although Annette, who went public with the fact that she had multiple sclerosis in 1992, has been forced by the effects of this devastating disease to retire from her stage and screen career, her indomitable spirit led her to found the Annette Funicello Bear Company, which is now launching a year-long 10th anniversary celebration.

On QVC-TV, Sunday, January 20, 2-4 p.m. EST, fans of Annette Funicello will have the opportunity to both preview new additions to her bear product line and learn how they can become members of an "Annie’s Angels" Walk Team to support the work of the Society. There is also a spring QVC show scheduled for April, followed by three more events throughout the coming year.
