Terms like "sexual dysfunction" and "intimacy" have achieved such a prominent place in popular culture, it almost goes without saying that relationships can be difficult. Imagine, then, how even more challenging a relationship becomes when one partner has a chronic illness or a disability. Fortunately, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is there to help.
On Thursday, February 15, 2001, the National MS Society’s monthly Internet educational program will focus on "The Intimate Side of MS".
During a thoughtful discussion of sexual dysfunction, rehabilitation, and intimacy, Elizabeth McDonald, MD, Medical Director of the MS Society of Victoria, Australia, will present viewpoints on what these terms mean and how intimacy can be achieved. Dr. McDonald’s live presentation will be followed by a question and answer session during which participants can ask questions via e-mail.
