WHO:  Emmy(R) Award-winning talk show host Montel Williams

WHAT:  In support of his second and third books, Montel Williams will appear at a rare book signing to meet his fans face-to-face. His second book, Life Lessons and Reflections, is an inspiring collection of quotes and sayings by Williams himself and other noteworthy figures, complemented by beautiful sepiatone photographs.  Co-authored with Jeffrey Gardere, Ph.D., a family therapist and father, Williams' most recent release, Practical Parenting, takes a comprehensive look at a variety of parenting issues.  From initially deciding to have children, nurturing and setting rules to discipline, sibling rivalry and educational goals, the two fathers cover it all.

WHY:  Dedicating his life to the fight for a cure of multiple sclerosis (also known as MS), a disease he has been steadfastly battling since he was diagnosed with it over a year ago, Williams will donate 100 percent of his royalties from Life Lessons and Reflections and Practical Parenting to The Montel Williams MS Foundation.  The funds will be used for research and benefit three organizations he has worked very closely with over the past year:  The Foundation for Neurologic Diseases, through Harvard and the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, The Nancy Davis Center Without Walls, and the Karolinska Nobel Institute in Stockholm, Sweden.
