Belgium legalises cannabis in medical treatments

The Belgian government has legalised the use of cannabis as part of the treatment for people suffering from painful diseases.

The drug will be prescribable for those undergoing chemotherapy, people suffering from glaucoma, multiple sclerosis and certain AIDS-related diseases.
