2nd International Ion Channel Drug Discovery Conference & Exposition To Take Place October 24-25, 2002, in Princeton, NJ

The latest developments in Ion Channel research at the discovery, preclinical, and clinical stages will be the focus of the 2nd International "Ion Channels in Drug Discovery & Development" taking place in Princeton, NJ on October 24-25, 2002, announces Strategic Research Institute.

Research over the past decade has revealed that ion channels have therapeutic potential in a number of diseases such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, neuropathic pain, sickle cell disease, and many others.  The meeting will cover topics such as automated electrophysiology, emerging targets & pharmacology, and preclinical & clinical development of Ion Channel compounds, with pharmaceutical, biotech, and academic scientists revealing their newest findings.

Highlights of the meeting include:
