Clinical management of people with multiple sclerosis (MS) is based not only on the control of side-effects of disease-modifying drugs but also on the recognition and treatment of disease exacerbations, on the evaluation of disease progression and on the management of the wide range of MS symptoms.
A multidisciplinary approach is essential to achieve the best results and improve the quality of life of MS patients.
