The MSIC

Welcome to The Multiple Sclerosis Information Centre (MSIC), set up by the UK’s Multiple Sclerosis National Centre (MSNC). The MSIC is located at the MSNC in Cricklewood and incorporates the previous Oliver Ball Memorial Library collections. We are ‘open for business’ from the 3rd May 2001

How can we help you?

The MSIC encompasses the ‘touchstones’ of access, a learning environment and fosters the sharing of information and resources.

• The MSIC is welcoming with opening hours from 1100-1600, Wednesday to Friday

• Provides an information service from professional information staff

• Is well organised and clearly signposted so that visitors can easily use the resources and find out about other sources of information not held at the MSNC

• Offers a place to find out about and read key journals and magazines

• Provides access to a range of electronic resources

• Gives you the opportunity to browse on the Internet at reasonable rates and do online and CD-ROM searches

• Gives you the opportunity to views videos and listen to audio cassettes

• Reference and research facilities and enquiries

• Up-to-date MS Publications and Fact Sheets on MS to take-away

• Key Resource guides on Useful Books, Useful Journals and Magazines, Useful Internet Sites

Our Library catalogues will only be available on the internet in 2002. However in the meantime please access our library catalogues through our Library OPAC system in the Information Centre’s library at the MSNC.
