How bupropion works remains unclear - it appears to be a mild central nervous system activator and have some effect on the dopamine system in the brain.
Possible side-effects include confusion, seizures, skin rashes and itching, vomitting, heart palpitations, blurred vision, difficulty breathing or wheezing, increased blood pressure, hallucinations and unusual tiredness or weakness.
